Volodymyr Zelenskyy has proposed that Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov will head the Ministry of Defense.
Zelenskyy announced this in an evening address, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I decided to change the format of the work of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. I proposed that Mykhailo Fedorov become the new Minister of Defense,” Zelensky said.
The Head of State noted that “a significant reboot has begun – internal changes to make Ukraine more stable.”
“Last year, there were good results from state institutions, which need to be made greater. There were also problems that should not be left in the new year. Therefore, there will be a wave of personnel changes, and there will be more decisions – in institutions,” the president said.
