A grand opening of the renovated dining hall took place at the Berestechkiv Lyceum.
This was reported by the Berestechkivsk City Council.
It was modernized as part of the implementation of the public investment project “Purchase of equipment, creation and modernization (reconstruction and overhaul) of canteens (food blocks) of educational institutions” at the expense of state and local budgets.
The project received state subvention funds in the amount of 7.7 million hryvnias, and co-financing from the local budget in the amount of over 1.3 million hryvnias was also provided.
The implementation of the project will allow creating a modern, safe, and functional space for organizing high-quality meals for students in accordance with current sanitary norms and standards.
The opening ceremony was attended by: Head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration Ivan Rudnytskyi, Deputy Head of the Volyn Regional Council Hryhoriy Pustovit, Head of the Lutsk District Council Tetyana Pavlova-Bahriychuk , Head of the Lutsk District State Administration Anatoliy Kostyk, Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Volyn Regional State Administration Natalia Matviyuk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vyacheslav Rublev, City Mayor Ihor Grudzevych.
During the event, the importance of investments in the development of educational infrastructure, the creation of proper conditions for children’s education and nutrition was noted.
The updated catering unit is equipped with modern equipment that will ensure the efficient organization of production processes, increase the quality of food preparation, and create comfortable working conditions for the institution’s staff.
